I love my family. Don't ever accuse me of not. I have my own lifestyle too and if you can't handle that, then please don't try to meddle in my life. The good Lord gave us all a chance at a good life. It is up to us whether or not we take advantage of that. |
Laurianne is a very sweet young lady. Unlike her rock-singing father, she is more of a country star. Laurie wants to go back to her Catholic/Christian roots and sing praises in church. She is constantly wanting to hang out with her grandmother, Catriona, and her grandfather, Seth. Laurianne is learning all she can about the Bible and its teachings, but she is still full of many questions and doubts. On top of this Laurie lacks confidence in singing outside of her family and the church. She fears her father would be disappointed in her for not singing music like him, but fears a large crowd even more. She understands that her grandparents were not easy on her father and that he was a rebel within his family, but Laurie believes she can patch that relationship together and be the bridge between them. Laurie loves her grandparents and will do anything to make them happy.

What is your dream job?
I want to sing Country music and share my faith with the world. I enjoy a good country tune and love to sing songs of my religion. "Sing songs of praise." What is your wanted rank? I want a rank that will allow me to sing songs to our God and praise the creator for all that He has done for us. What is your favorite song to sing? I love singing "Hallelujah". It is such a beautiful, sad, and haunting song. I believe there is a new version a college student wrote that entailed the story of Jesus within the song. I love both versions and enjoy singing them. What does your father think about you spending time with your grandparents? I think my father is surprised that I've taken a strong liking to my grandparents. I love being able to spend time with them and to learn about the church. I know my dad wasn't too big on religion, but I feel that he needs to reconnect with his roots. |
Singing is like washing the dishes. You try and you try to get the plate clean, but there is always that tiny spec of food left. That spec of food represents all the little DISCREPANCIES and the mistakes. If I want my plate to be perfectly clean, then i need to polish it and make sure it is clean. It's almost the same thing for relationships. You have to keep working at it to get somewhere and to remain relatively happy within it. |
